Sometimes in life people describe something that is odd or unfamiliar in a group as a black sheep, especially within a family. The unfamiliar sheep in this story is just that, different than the other sheep. The message of this book is to teach children that it is okay to be different and that being different isnt a bad thing.

I got the idea for the story while lying in bed, thinking about how things are a lot different than they were when I was growing up. I realized that children today have many more obstacles to face than past generations.

نبذة عن المؤلف (2016)

I was born in 1955, in Elmira, New York. The youngest of five children, my mother was a head start teacher, and my father was photographer. I grew up in Elmira but later moved to Atlanta with my twelve-year-old daughter. I lived there for nine years and later moved to Brooklyn with husband. I then moved to Central New York, where I reside today. I currently work in manufacturing full time, at GE, but plan to retire next year. I have three grandchildren, which I see every weekend. My hobbies are spending time with my family and going to casinos.
